SHANNON DOUGHERTY

Shannon K Dougherty is a Boudoir and Portrait Photographer based in St. Louis, Missouri.

She started her creative career as a fine art painter before falling in love with photography.

Most of her work shows inspiration from classical art and artists with a touch of fashion and

editorial influences.

 

As an educator and mentor in the boudoir industry, she helps photographers not only work on their craft, creating intention, making each session come together between styling & posing but also to create not just photographs but ART

RIC LEWIS

Ric is an internationally published photographer specializing in fine art portraiture, underwater, fashion, maternity, and boudoir. Of all the genres of photography his two main passions are maternity and underwater portraiture. Ric travels the US with his wife Kayla and teaches workshops as well as speaks or runs photo booths at photography conventions throughout the US. When he’s not taking pictures or teaching workshops, Ric helps his wife with her company Kayla Douglas Artistry. Ric is an ambassador for Baby Dream Backdrops, Aftershoot, Embrace Presets, Spider Camera Holster, Cheetah Stand, and Aftershoot. The most important thing for Ric as a photographer is that every client, every photographer, and every creative walks away from every interaction with him feeling loved, inspired, and valued.

In addition to her local portrait clients in western North Carolina, she has photographed clients in places such as Italy, Barcelona, Bali, Munich, Paris, London, New York, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Charleston, Mexico, and Costa Rica.

 

Cat provides her portrait clients with opportunities to empower themselves and create impactful visual brands, and her mentoring helps her mentees grow into both artists and CEOs.

 

Cat and her work have been awarded internationally on multiple worldwide platforms and have been featured by affiliates for FOX, NBC, & CBS, as well as in photographic circles with The Portrait Masters, Infinite Color Panel, The Color Lab, Vlada Backdrops (NYC), and is a judge for one of the most prestigious photography print competition in the world with ICON.

ITINERARY

DAY 1: Travel Day!

Board your overnight flight to Glasgow today.!

DAY 2: Arrival in Glasgow

Included meals: welcome dinner
Welcome to Scotland! After touching down,
transfer to your hotel and settle in for a free day. Then, meet
your Tour Director and fellow group members at
the evening’s included dinner, served with beer
or wine.

DAY 3: Glasgow photoshoot & workshop

Included meals: breakfast, lunch
Embark on a journey through the vibrant streets
of Glasgow! This unique experience begins with
an exciting photo walk, capturing the city's
stunning architecture, bustling markets, and
hidden gems.
After working up an appetite, enjoy a delicious
lunch included in the package, offering a taste of
local flavors. Post-lunch, dive into an engaging
photography discussion  where you'll learn tips
and techniques to enhance your skills. Whether
you're a seasoned photographer or a beginner,
this adventure promises to be both educational
and inspiring, leaving you with beautiful
memories and newfound expertise.

and workshop will be confirmed closer to
departure.

DAY 4: Oban Region via Inveraray Castle

Included meals: breakfast, dinner
From Glasgow, head northwest to the region
surrounding the seaside town of Oban, making a
few stops as you go.
• Drive through The Trossachs, one of
Scotland’s two national parks, and pass by
Loch Lomond—the largest on the island of
Britain by surface area. Make photo stops to
take in the breathtaking shoreline and
mountain scenery. • 

Leave your bus at majestic Inveraray Castle,
where we will be planning a breath taking photoshoot: Surrounded
by gardens, this country estate was one of
the first built in the Gothic Revival style, and
you’ll get to explore both with a local guide
leading the way.
Roll on to the Oban region, then sit down with
your group for an evening dinner, served with
beer or wine.

DAY 5: Isle of Skye via Eilean Donan Castle

Included meals: breakfast, dinner
Transfer from the charming town of Oban to the
enchanting Isle of Skye, with a picturesque stop
along the way.
• Depart from Oban and journey through the
stunning Scottish Highlands, making your
way to the iconic Eilean Donan Castle. This
historic fortress, perched on a small tidal
island, offers a perfect backdrop for a
photoshoot, capturing the essence of
Scotland's rugged beauty.
• Continue your scenic drive, soaking in the
breathtaking landscapes as you approach the
Isle of Skye. The journey is filled with
opportunities to marvel at the natural
splendor of the region, from rolling hills to
serene lochs.
Once you’ve settled into your hotel in the Isle of
Skye Region, join your group for an included
dinner, served with beer or wine.

DAY 6: Fairy Glen Photoshoot & visit to
Portree

Included meals: breakfast
Enjoy a leisurely morning to relax and unwind, or
take the opportunity to look through the photos
you've taken so far.
• Spend your free time at your own pace,
whether it's sipping a cup of tea, strolling
through the local area, or simply enjoying the
serene surroundings of the Isle of Skye. • In the afternoon, embark on a photoshoot at
the enchanting Fairy Glen. This whimsical
landscape, with its unique rock formations
and lush greenery, provides a magical setting
for capturing stunning images.
Afterwards, transfer to the charming town of
Portree. Here, you'll have free time to explore on
your own, discovering the local shops, cafes, and
picturesque harbor. Take in the vibrant
atmosphere and perhaps grab a bite to eat at
one of the town's delightful eateries before
returning to your hotel and turning in for the
night.

DAY 7: Glenbrittle Fairy Pools photoshoot

Included meals: breakfast, dinner
Start your day with a magical photoshoot at the
Glenbrittle Fairy Pools, a series of crystal-clear,
cascading waterfalls and vibrant blue pools
nestled in the heart of the Isle of Skye. These
enchanting pools are renowned for their striking
beauty, with the water's clarity and the
surrounding lush greenery creating a
mesmerizing contrast.
Enjoy the scenic drive back to your hotel and
enjoy a relaxing afternoon of free time.
Later tonight, rejoin your group for an included
dinner, served with your choice of beer or wine.

DAY 8: Edinburgh via Blair Athol

Included meals: breakfast, liquor tasting, dinner
En route to Edinburgh, stop in Perthshire, a
historic county often called the Heart of
Scotland. Between sparkling rivers, tranquil
lochs, and dense woodland, it’s as enchanting as
it is culturally significant.
• Visit medieval Blair Castle, the former home
of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. Imposing
turrets, towers, and battlements in the stark
Scottish Baronial style stand against a
backdrop of manicured gardens and wooded
countryside.
• Stop by one of the area’s whisky distilleries
with a guide and enjoy a tasting. Scotch is
one of Scotland’s most significant exports,
and you don’t have to imbibe to appreciate
the heritage and craftsmanship that goes into
the spirit’s production. Finally, make your way to Edinburgh and gather
together for an included dinner, served with beer
or wine.

DAY 9: Sightseeing tour of Edinburgh & photo
walk

Included meals: breakfast
Get to know Edinburgh in all its medieval beauty
on a tour led by a local expert.
• Pass through a UNESCO World Heritage Site,
the elegant New Town, before moving
through another (the Old Town) to see the
Royal Mile—a famous street that connects
Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of
Holyroodhouse. See the King George statue,
Bute House (the official residence of the First
Minister of Scotland), and the Sir Walter
Scott monument.
• Head up to the summit of Calton Hill, a
monument-laden geographic feature best
known as the headquarters of the Scottish
government. Scope out the Royal Mile from
above, then make your way to the Old Calton
Burial Ground, the final resting place of such
luminaries as the philosopher David Hume.
• Enter Edinburgh Castle to view two timeless
icons: the Scottish Crown Jewels and the
Stone of Scone, a fixture at coronation
ceremonies since at least the 13th century.
• Spend the afternoon following your Group
on a photowalk.

DAY 10: Morning meeting & bagpipe lesson

Included meals: breakfast, farewell dinner
Start the morning with a meeting to recap your
adventure through the dramatic and gorgeous
scenery of Scotland.
This evening, head to a private room at a local
restaurant and meet a professional bagpipe
player.
• Learn about the history of the bagpipe,
Scotland’s national instrument, and listen to
the musician play a few songs.
• Pick up your own bagpipe and follow along
as they teach the group essential breathing
techniques and share other playing tips.
Celebrate your trip, and your fellow travelers,
over a farewell dinner served with beer or wine.

DAY 11: Departure

Included meals: breakfast (excluding early
morning departures)
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
